I havn't been in GS since a very long time. I can tell from other websites for games that there is a war on Sony and PS3. Everyone attacks sony even when there is positive news such as great sales for PS2. I can say that GS is really not taking side of anyone which is very good. I just wanted to tell everyone who is against PS3 without even thinking that there is more than 100 games coming for PS3 in 2007 only. Am I right or I didn't count them correctly?!
every one here is against ps3 also, go into system wars. but yes many good games are comings in 2007, oblivion and motorstorm are gonna kick of the party :D

This site is filled up with 12-16year old kids who just got their first console for christmas and that console was a 360. They've never seen anything like that before and they don't want to loose it when they just got it. So because they got a 360 htey will try to defend it and bash hte PS3 even though they have no clue about what they're talking. They pretend to know al the specs and all that the PS3 is capable of. They think that all the PS3 can do is what they've seen so far. They just don't think at all. PS3 has great potential to do things that will make us drop our jaws. I know that, you know that....but the 12year old kid who comes here just to bash the PS3 doesn't know that. They bash the PS3 because their friends do it to and they just want to fit in. Reporters bash the PS3 too as much as possible. Why? Bad news sells more than good news. Isin't that true? Sony just realeased a new gaming console thats $600 obviously they will bash it. That's all is going to go away in about a year-15months when there gonna be a 150+ titles on the PS3. I think if I would have to rank the consoles in terms of enjoyment I would rank #1:PS3, #2:Wii, #3:Xbox360.

Thats a bunch of crap!!! and Ive read alot of crap in gamspot!!! I'm 36, and as far as this site being filled up with a bunch of 12-16 year old XBOX fans, I thought It was the other way around!!!

Thank you!! Sony will win in the long run you just have to give it some time. It took microsoft a couple of months to get everything going so why cant people do the same thing for Sony. I have a 360 and a ps3. As of rite now in my opinion there tied just do to the fact that microsoft has more games out. But they way I look at it once Halo 3 comes out Microsoft is done..they have no other good titles. Halo is what made the xbox sell so much and thats the only title they have. Once halo 3 comes out what else do they have.

If only it had been that way then there would have been an excuse. :( But sadly not, in realy it's grown up "men" who acts this way and some of them are in their late 30's. Some people becomes maniacs when sitting behind a wheel or when they are drunk and some become narrowminded console brand phanatics when hiding behind a computer screen.

Basically the same thing, but with sharper texture resolutions, smoother gameplay, and less loading times. If you didn't enjoy the 360 version, then nothing will really turn you on in this version.

idk thats pretty much how it worked out for sony last generation. The ps2 released a year early over the competition and had way more games just like 360 has now. dont get me wrong i dont think ms is gonna blow sony out of the water, its just gonna be a lot closer in the number of systems sold.
I heard that development for games is more favorable for the PS3 than the 360. Apparentyly they've been able to unravel more mysterys about the Cell Broad Band Processor. Technically it still tops over quad core technology. Anyway a guy from Electronic Arts said that development for games is looking better for the PS3. I heard it from a different thread. The developer has been around since the original Nintendo system, so I guess it should to be true unless the thread was a whole big lie. But another fact that you should know is that the 360 will hit it's technological peak at the end of 2007. The PS3 will progress for the rest of it's console life cycle. Eventually games will look better than Kill Zone 2's tech video. So hold tight cause once the PS3 reduces in price and shows off it's power it will WOOP BUTT. Also the PS3 has the most upgrade ability as well(you can upgrade it's hard drive and it's Operating system example:Windows Xp, Vista, etc). Another thing is that PS3 has a new processor, Blu-ray(for HighDefinition), best compatibility for High Drfinition 1080:p, and it has a ton of extra slots (USB,Flash, etc) it also comes with free wi-fi. Also the system is made under Sony you can believe in a company with more experience than Microsoft right? You can beleive in a company that built a system to advance over 360 right? IF you really know Sony very well and read the specs and heard developers talk you'll realise the PS3 is not behind at all. 360's countdown of losing the war has already begun Kill Zone 2 will most likely whip Halo3. By having good graphics, 4 palyer co-op on wi-fi(Since the majority of PS3 units will ahve wi-fi), 20 players in a MP map, a longer story line than Gears of War(8 hours),KIll Zone 2 (over 8 hours),the blu-ray disk will be loaded with content. The only advantage Halo 3 has is, is that it's a very anticipated sequal. But if you want a list of sequals coming out for the PS3 here's:Kill Zone2,Metal Gear Solid 4,Devil May Cry 4, Resident Evil 5, Final Fantasy XIII(even though technically it's not a sequal FF series have always been good), And if your worried about inovation, Sony stands second(because it's technologically inovative by bringing new stuff into the market) in Inovation in generation Wii is first 360 is last.
I'll tell you why. 360 has tri-core technology (that's nothing new just a processor that copies intels technology) HDDVD(Only company that supports HDDVD besides Microsoft is Toshiba now that's sad) Graphics card ATI card, ATI hardly ever comes up with better technology then Nvidia, to tell you the truth Ati only improves upon Nvidia Cards. Nvidia devlops new technology and Ati follows up on it. Not the most innovative graphics card company.The only time Ati goes ahead of Nvidia is when they make there own stuff and that almost never happens. 20 Gb Hardrive (that doesn't even include the 360 core system) And a 3 dollar monthly fee for XBox live, well 3 time 12 is 36 dollars in a year. 6 times 36 is like 216 dollars just dto use Xbox live from the day ti was launched until the console's life- cycle is over.
This is all of 360's new technology not very impressive is it. Comparing to Wii and PS3 not Inovative at all.
Also PS3 has a lots of great titles coming out for it as well. Personally the way I think of it, it took a whole year until I can get a smile on my face over the 360 and that's because of Gears of War. I think it'll work the same way with PS3 but instead of a smile I could possibly grin.
