Hey guys,

I have a 32" SD Trinitron (One of the best SD TVs that came out just before HD became popular mid 2000s) It has a good quality picture, but is obviously nowhere near as clear as my 48" in the living room!!! :) When I play games like Mirrors Edge or and Fallout on it, I get a problem thats hard to describe. Its like the screen refreshes slowly, with horizontal bars forming when you move suddenly or change your view quickly in game. I dunno if that makes sense but its annoying. Does the PS3 have any options to prevent this kind of thing? Ive looked but nothing seems to work. Thanks.

My Trinitron died last year. The Red's had gone. I must have a similar one as you because I got it in 2004

I came in here to rip on you about the whole 1000 Hz thing but you did not even talk about it. The PS3 has alot of different settings options for display, and truely I have know idea what 80% of them do.

Best thing you can do is upgrade by getting a new SONY HD TV. A 32 inch will cost about 600 or so.
