Does the ps3 support 1024 pixels? I just want to know if works for monitors like the Xbox360.

PS3 supports a few different resolutions; 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p.

If you wish to know the exact resolutions, then check out Google.

I hope you are not taking the length of the monitor. The resolution is represented by the width, not length, in which if your length is 1024, your width will be 768. So the best output would be 720. You might get a bit of overscan though. But then again, what cable do you intend to use. Unlike the 360, which has a VGA cable sold seperately, the ps3 doesn't. So your monitor must either be able to accept RCA (a waste) or HDMI cables.

Or DVI, theres always a DVI connection. Most moniters have one.

I just want to see it it works with monitiers with 1024 pixels. Does anybody have problems, like overscan?

PS3  supports  1920 X 1080 pixels which is 1080p.   and everything under that

Your monitor has to support 1920x1080 or 1280x720 or 640x480. Thats the formats the ps3 outputs video in.
