I just went to a few game stores today asking around for a 60GB (to no avail). Of course they asked me why I wanted one, and I told them abt the whole backward compatibility issue. Then I said "why get the 80 GB now when I could get in June with MGS4 in one bundle", and two stores told me that a 120 GB model is comin' out with MGS4 and a Dualshock controller, but it will have no backward compatibility whatsoever. Is there any truth to this? And should I buy the 80 GB now and get MGS4 limited edition or just wait for the bundle?

Those two stores are misinformed. The bundle coming in June is the 80 GB system (with software-based emulation intact), a DualShock 3 and the MGS 4 game.If you can, i would wait it out and pick that up.
