Alright who has come across this like I have? People are going onto ebay and selling "accounts" with $150 credit for the PSN. And they are selling for around $30. Great deal???? I want to know any opinions out there about this. Have you tried this and what do you think? I personally don't know. You would have to keep whatever account this person gives you on your PS3 at all times in order to even use the downloaded items. Also how did all these people come across this? Are they hacking into other persons's accounts and stealing them and then going right out and selling them quickly on ebay? That seems to be the only logical explanation. So I figured I would get this out there so people could talk about it and possibly avoid these people and do not tempt them anymore.

If it's too good to be true then it probably is.

Yeah as much as I wanted to buy into it, I knew not to. And just wanted to get something out to the forums so other people can possibly see and not fall for it.

It may be real..,looks real. But there's definitely something illegal under the hood of things. Why does it have to be used within 7 days? And how did so much money get on an account? Sounds like they used someones credit card and bought the points on the account and then wanna make money off of it by Ebaying it. I'd pass on it for sure.

You know someone is getting scammed some where, but I am sure it is safe for the most part to the buyer. Really can you spend $150 in a week though? I think you would have to just buy everything you see for the heck of it, just to use it up.

You could easily spend $150 in a couple days (I see they are saying that you have to spend it within 3 days now), as long as you own a PSP. Just download your games from PSN instead of buying them. But yeah something is up. I do think they are stealing accounts that have credit cards on their system and selling them off. You have to keep the account on your PS3 in order to use whatever you download. Now I do think if you got PSP stuff and transfered everything, then deleted the account off your PS3, all your PSP stuff will still work. Just dont transfer it back or expect to get it off the PS3 again.

Those people leaving positive feedback have no clue. They just do what it says on ebay and then have everything downloaded so they think its fine. Im not sure I trust leaving whatever acct on my system. I mean it should be alright as long as I never input any credit information on my PS3.

Anybody know of any deals on PSN cards?

Buying this person's account isn't a scam.. but what he did with this account of "his" is another story.

So do you think by adding this acct to your system, nothing can come of it? It is obvious that whoever this seller is, they scammed someone to get this kind of money. But how are they going about it is the question? There are a ton of them on ebay right now. Go search playstation network card and you will see all kinds of $150 ones on there.

I wouldn't buy it. The seller could either A. Hack it back or B. You could get banned.

Agreed. You might wanna try asking him for details on "The Accounts".

Agreed. Also, althrough unlikely, the positive reviews might be given by the very same person but with different accounts. Suspcious gamer= moi ;)
