i know there are a few 16gb sd memory cards out there, but can i use any of them on the psp?

i'm a total video freak, and i really got the psp more for the portable video player than for the games. i'm a big gamer too, don't get me wrong, but i have other systems for them.

so, does anyone know if there is a large 16 gb + card that would actually work with the psp?

SD cards won't work with the PSP, you need to get a Sony Memory stick duo to work with the PSP. Here's a 16Gb Memory stick from Amazon.com.

Those are expensive! How can they be so expensive when you can get an 80gb iPod for about $100 more than a 16gb card!?

Purchasing from a trusted site is OK, just don't but from ebay, unless they show you the actual item you're recieving. If you do your research, you can tell by eye which packages are fake and which aren't.

To play it safe, buy from a trusted site like tiger direct, best buy, circuit city, etc.

i know that SD cards aren't supported but their are new types of adapters that allow 2 sd cards to be inserted, of any size, into an adapter which is MMS. What's great about it is that you can have so much more extra memory but unfortunately they're very expensive.

Yes, there are 16gb memory stick duo's out for the PSP right now. I recently just bought one and it works great, it was alittle less than $200 but it's well worth it.
