160 GB Sony Roomer?

I have been told that the reason its hard to find a 80GB Sony *at least in my area* is because

1. The 80GB PS3 is made in Japan not china like the 40GB and they take more time and care to make them.
2. Because they stopped production of them for a month for the MGS4 bundle *this one doesn't make any sense to me*

3. and they are going to release a 160GB Sony and discontinue the 80GB.

Just wondering if any one knows if their is any truth to these.

I don't know that sounds hard to believe Sony would be making bad business decisions if they keep making and discontinuing models.

you heard wrong. The 80 GB is here to replace the motorstorm bundle and the reason you can find one is that every one and their mother is buying one. Dont expect to find one during the holidays either. I work in best buy and I can honestly tell you to get one you have to come to the store looking for it.
