I have a 160gb PS3, and I was just wondering, I have heard that they play some PS2 games, is this true?

This is not true. Neither the 80gb, or 160gb have any BC capabilities. The 80gb PS3s that shipped in the MGS4 bundles were the last ones to have BC. All PS3s do play PSone games though.

The latter is actually pretty much impossible, as it requires something from the hardware as opposed to software :(

PS2 games on the PSN store would be sweet. I wouldn't mind picking up a lot of the titles I missed out on via download. :)
