If you came on to GS, and MGS4 had a 7.5, would you NOT buy the game??

Thats how I felt about Gears of War, so I bought a 360. It's nothing wrong with owning multiple consoles bro...it's a common thing nowdays. Just buy a ps3...It feels good to know that I can play(Geow2 and MGS4) the 2 best games of 2008.

I think you would agree if he said ONE OF THE BEST GAMES EVER CREATED, That doesn't mean it is perfect. I'm a fan of the series but don't like it when it gets praised more than it deserves.

I predict GS will give it a 9-9.5, I think GTAIV only got a 10 by everyone to keep EA from taking Take Two over, giving TT the publicity they need to stay separate. I love GTAIV, but was surprised to see so many 10s.

that doesn't matter dude- you act like theyve never given a sony game a bad score before!

the point is- if theyre giving mgs4 a perfect score, then now we all know for sure its going to be a GREAT game and we the fans will thoroughly enjoy it, and also that most of the other reviews will be high scores too, theres no way possible for this magazine to get things THAT wrong. sometimes if you read a review, it doesnt entirely translate into the score they give it- from the few exerts in those thumbnails in that link above, its easy to tell how confident they were in giving it that score.

Couldn't agree more!!!

I don't excpect to see a 9 from gamespot... Every review is rushed so they haven't played the game much, but Metal Gear is at is best when you play it again and again and again... it simply gets better each time you play it.. so a true review of MGS4 is when they played it many times.

I have this feeling that it would get a 10 on GS I don't know why! Anyway, unlike other games, Metal Gear games don't need 9s or 10s or even a review to be purchased, they got a huge history!
