I might get SOCOM: Confrontation for Christmas. Is it any good? I heard the game is multiplayer only. Does it have Co-op? Can you buy it off the PSN Store? Now for Metal Gear Solid 4, is the online disk seperate? Is Metal Gear Solid 4 all stealth? Do you unlock items when you rank up in online? How good is the customization online? Also, is the online good?

SOCOM: Confrontation is multiplayer only. Although it's not as bad as everyone says it is, there are dozens of games that would be better purchase decisions than that. MGS4's online portion (Metal Gear Online) is on the same disk as MGS4. It's one of the choices in the main menu. You can choose to be all stealth if you like. In fact, you can go through the entire game without killing a single enemy (save for some boss battles). The beauty in MGS4 is that you can choose to be stealthy, or just go in guns blazing. The choice is completely yours. I'm not too sure about MGO, but I think there are a few benefits to gaining ranks. Although, I'm pretty sure you get most of the weapons right off the bat. The customization is decent. The online is really fun, contrary to what many people believe (in my opinion of course). So overall, get MGS4, skip SOCOM and get something else.

Thanks, that cleared it up for me. I asked for SOCOM though befoe this. I hope I don't get it then.

yeah MGO is amazing the graphics are really good for a multiplayer and you DP (Drebin Points) in most matchs which allow you to get better and bigger guns but the points reset at the begging of each match ranking up only gives you points that you can use at the online store to buy new outfits gloves helmets etc.

Socom is good but not really until they get the bugs fixed really bad lag problems
