I dont know, I believe that the level is 2 gigs, but it just sounds like its a little lazy as far as developers go because it shouldn't take that much space to make one level. I think that they (along with Uncharted with saying how big the E3 Demo was) are making up reasons just to try and fill the blu-ray disc with more apce than a dvd. The graphics are not THAT GREAT that it should take 2 gigs, I think they need to work out their code or graphics engine or whatever out more and work out making it smaller, because I think that if not someone is going to optimize it and then it's going to come over to the 360... Just my opinion

The dev MotherH has commented that even though the first level took up *over* 2 GB of data the levels in the actually game won't take up that much space. Seb (MotherH) said that the reason for such a large demo size was due to the lighting, sound, graphical engines all having to be contained within the demo.

You're a very bitter person my friend ( I dont know if this is old news to you or to anyboy else or if in fact you know you are bitter or have known it). I don't understand why you are being so hostile to everyone.

But, but Blu-Ray isn't needed, I want a games console not a Blu-Ray player. LOL Anyway what happens when they put a Killzone 2 demo on PSN? It will take a week to download...

Just as long as there is killer multiplayer to go along with an amazing single player experience, the longevity of the singleplayer won't matter much.

How's that Blu-Ray can hold up to 50GBs? That's about 25 levels, that's not enough for you?

Exactly! How the heck would you know it's big because they're lazy. It just may be because it's action-packed, a large game, and very good graphics. Gee what a thought!

Actually game developers can use up to 100gb BR discs if they need them. Short? Where do you people get this stuff?

well they took 25 min while presenting the level...so they were taking long to show off some things..so if u took 20 min a level you would still be slacking..so your looking at an 8.5 hour game with out cut scenes or online multiplayer
