Well if you don't mind going online it does splitcreen there also. I do agree that playing 2 player offline doesn't work too well. While technically for online you are playing with more than two people you still get to play withyou and one other person on the same PS3. Alot more fun to play it this way than offline. But either way you can do 2 player slitscreen which is cool.

Conflict Denied Ops 2p, Damnation 2p (even if the case says 1p it is 2p), Resistance Fall of Man 2p, Kane & Lynch Dead Men 2p, Warhawk up to 4p online on 1 TV, Heavy Weapon PSN store DL game up to 4p on 1 TV, Supersonic Battlecars PSN store DL game up to 4p on 1 TV, Commando Wolf of the Battlefield PSN Store DL game up to 3p on 1 TV, Calling all Cars PSN Store DL game up to 4p on 1 TV, All the Lego Games are 2p, Lord of the Rings Conquest is 2p, Chronicles of Narnia is 2p, UT 3 is 2p offline with the free update from PSN Store, All Guitar Hero games are 2p, Rock Band is 4p, American Idol Kerioke Revolution is 2p. But honestly you can go to any game store Gamespot & Game Crazy and inquire by asking the workers and looking on the back of cases. I only know of the ones I've played.
