2 player co-op recommendations?

So me and my buddy play a lot of 2 player co-op video games together. However, lately it's been harder and harder to find a decent title that has this since most people would rather play multiplayer online, so I thought I would simply inquire as to what 2 player co-op games you recommend on PS3?

is this split-screen or online? I know quite a few for online, but split-screen is becoming hard to find now.

If your looking for split screen games, that a tough question. The only one i can think of from the top of my head is Gran Turismo 5 if your into racing games. But theres loads of options online, black ops, borderlands, army of two 40th day which also be done split screen.
