2 Vita questions for everyone

1. Does anyone have the official sony dock for it? The dock looks nice and walmart has it for 13 bucks right now. I want one so I have a place to put it in my room when im not using it was just wondering if it is any good.

2. Does anyone know if sony ever plans on making it so ps3 friends can see their vita friends when they are online? I know all stars is going to support cross play online as in vita owners can play against ps3 owners online. But, how can this even work if my ps3 friends wont even be able to see me as online?

Thanks for any answers and btw, you guys probably already know but their are great prices on memory cards on ebay, got my 8gb for 20 bucks in preparation of my vita coming this week.

I have my Vita for a few weeks now so i can answer this with my best knoledge :).

1. i seen the dock and there a third party one that is both a dock and a charging stand. but it will be worth it dont have it, but it will be worth it since when your not playing a game if you on Netflix ,Niconico or Youtube you cna set it on the dock to watch it while you wont hold it on a table and look at it. and also when like you go to sleep you can put it there and pick it up when your up or when you want to use it.

2.as of right now the only way you can see your friends online on their Vitas is when you first sign in on your PS3 and when your friend's list is loaded and if you see some friends at the far bottom in order of their first letter of ther IDs thats when there on their Vita. but as of now Sony hasnt announced if they will fix it yet i know what your saying but so far nothing from then, but im positive they will fix it soon just have to wait for awhile longer, never know they could be working on it already

even if its that true. it will be a overly large update if they implement it.i mean the software updates are still in the 4.20s or higher but if its a rewrite they will have to make a new OS for the PS3 or make a huge firmware update like 5.00 or something . i'll go search for that article.

man that's really irritating that vita has been out since February and they still haven't patched the ps3 for this. Must not be an easy fix because its either that or they are just lazy. nolson

Yea, the friends list thing irritates me. I would also like to view my Vita trophies on my PS3 and if someone looks at my list from their PS3 I want them to see my Vita trophies. Just because lol. I don't see why they can't do this easily.

I have the cradle i think its useful. Like watching youtube/netflix is easier, you dont have to hold the console.
