Before I spend money on a PS3. Is it really worth it to get a 60 gb system? I am not going to be using it as a computer, mainly just for games and blu-ray and i'm wondering if you really need 60 gigs to do that.

Thanks

If your not bothered about wireless networks or using Flash media cards, memory sticks etc then the 20gb model will do you fine.. although the HDD drive has less capacity than the 60GB model you can always install a larger drive when you need to so your not really missing out on anything.. if however you feel down the line you want to go wireless or need to use flash media or Memmory sticks etc your better off getting the 60gb model.

I say this to every person that asks this question: Do YOU really want a system that is not top quality for 5 or more years?...thats why i got a 60 gig.I dont want to settle for something less that is not as good in the long run as its cheap downgrade.Go with the 60...besides the 20 is hard to find..

60GB no doubt. One of the main reasons for having the HDD is to use it for load times. The last thing I'd want is to have to buy a new HDD to play a game or erase saved stuff. I don't want to have to worry about storage space if they start to let us download movies or TV shows. Why buy the best of the best when you can buy the best of the best of the best?

ive never even seen a 20gb. the place i work at only had PS3's on launch day, they were gone in less than 5 minutes and there were 0 20gb. after all, from what i understand, the people who buy the 20's always trade them back in to get the 60's

I say, you must get 60. I have a 360 & love it to death. It has a 20 GB hard drive. It's most certainly not enough. I have 60 GB PS3.

60GB, the 20GB will get eaten up when you download the installs to load your games faster!

I got a 20gb as it was all the stores had before x-mas. I had no need for wireless or media card readers and I can always put in a bigger HD if I need it, which I doubt.

I got the 20Gb. Its plenty space for me. Only need it for savegames and an occasional demo but those can be deleted when I need more space. Have used maybe 1 Gb on my 360 in a year.

I have a 60GB version it is great. I haven't set-up my WiFi yet, mainly because I keep getting errors for the internet connection when I input the I.P, and all that good stuff. But, right now I've only used up a little space, and I've downloaded demos and trailers, still in the 40GB+ range. I do like my 60 GB version, and I would suggest you buying one, but only if you have the money. If you don't go with the 20GB, and upgrade it later if you need to.
