whats wrong with the 3000 ppl say bad screen but i just read someones post and it said 2000 has bad screen but then ive heard 3000 has bad screen ddo they both or which one?

well im probably gonna get 3000 cos my classmate said she might buy my 1000. i went to the store yesterday and i tried 3000. worked well, no scan lines that i'd notice. if id choose between 2000 and 3000 id go with the 3000

What kill my self one and know two. This world is screwed up. But i like the 3000 the best ive owned every single one and 3000 is by far the best

If you wan't to save a few bucks get a 2000 but if you have the money the 3000 is good... There is mixed reactions from the scan lines, some say they aren't noticeable while others say they are BAD.... And from the IGN article on it, it seems it makes everything so colourful its a yellow-ish tint... I suggest you do research :P

Don't jump to conclusions, they are two different screen issues and the 2000's isn't a common one by the way it sounds

I just got a 3000 today and I haven't noticed any real issue with the screen, and I'm the kind of person that obsesses with color and picture quality on my monitor and LCD TVs. It'a 100x better without the horrible ghosting I noticed while playing a friend's psp, and the double refresh rate is why I finally got one for myself. I also really like the brighter darks. The big LCD downstairs has muddy darks and it annoys me to no end.

3000 has really small scan-lines.. probably not noticeable from afar at normal viewing... then agian, most of us don't play with the screen an inch in front of our eyes.

I think that buying the 2000 is much better value. The 2000 and 3000 really aren't that different, so really, just get whichever one is cheaper.

PSP 2000 is only 150 at bestbuy, while the 3000 is 170, no one ever complains about the 2000 so might as well be safe and get the 2000. If only it had two analogs...

If you're into CFW then go with the 2000

Bu if not then absolutly go with the 3000 & as for the screen scanlines or whatever it is absolutly NOTHING!!

trust me i got 50 games & only one of them Ace combat X where you fly into a tunnel shows the probly for like 2 seconds so get it or you'll regret it

I think the 2000 would be a better choice. It is also now becoming cheaper. The 2000 also has "Special Features" that the psp 3000 cannot obtain. Rumors also have it that the screen has scan lines on the psp 3000 that are visible, but I don't think that is true.
