2008 vs 2009, which year has better games?

At this year,we did get great games,Dmc4,Mgs4,Gta 4,Sc4 (lots of 4...),Resistance 2,Little Big Planet,Motorstorm 2,Bioshock,Gt5 prologue,Fallout 3,Socom,Dead space, and others.

But next year, I think we get at least as good as this year.

Gran turismo 5,God of war 3,Final fantasy Xiii and Versus,Killzone 2,Tekken 6 (maybe 2008),Eternal Sonata (Europe), Uncharted 2 (maybe),Resident evil 5,Street fighter Iv...

Hard to say which one has better.Maybe still 2008

2009 should be a good year for gaming i mean lets see we're getting jax and dexter, killzone 2, resident evil 5 and Infamous and so much more.

2008, since I obviously haven't had chance to play any of 2009's games >_>.

2008 and 2007 would probably have been a smarter comparison.

2008 at the moment, although I'm hoping 2009 will be a blast for the PS3 system.

With games like, Metal Gear Solid 4 in the 08' list, 09' titles will have to live up to hype, live up to hype goood.

2008 has MGS4. 2009 needs something better than MGS4 in overall quality to make 2009 a better year.

2008 also witnessed and will witness the release of many other titles aswell: Haze, GTAIV, Far Cry 2, Silent Hill 5, Bad Company, and of course Resistance 2 etc...

What I'm looking forward to the most in 2009 is Heavy Rain, Resident Evil 5, MAG and of course the Metal Gear Solid movie that Sony Pictures and Kojima promissed to make like no other.

Killzone 2 and Resident Evil 5 don't come out until 2009.

For me it would be 2008!!!!! We have LBP, Resistance 2, Resident Evil 5, SWTFU, Killzone 2, Motorstorm 2, Home, RB2, GH:WT and all the games already out. 2008 is going to be a kickass year.PS2_Fan27

That would be early 2012. But 2009 will witness the birth of the Hollywood movie "Metal Gear Solid" written by the man and legend of gaming himself, Hideo Kojima(He's the producer). According to Sony Pictures officials, the budget for the movie is around 100 million dollars(MGS4 budget btw nears that number) and they promised they're doing everything they got to make this movie ONE hell of a movie and won't ruin its name as others did with "video game to movie". For instance, Alone in the Dark.

I'd say 09, those are the real deal games. But I'm stoked for Fable 2 Gears 2 and Fallout 3...I think Fallout 3 is going to carry the entire year though. People will be saying Metal Gear what? :)

Hmm well i can't tell the future so idk which year will have better games but on paper right now 2008 is a better year overall. But according to me 2009 will be a better year for me cause all 08s games will be out and i can't afford all of them this year.
