250gb PS3's... Sold Out Everywhere!?1?!

I was just about to place an order for a 2nd 250gb Slim for my home...and it seems its sold out everywhere online. My main store is Amazon and they wont have them in stock until the 15th. Guess sales are doing pretty good??

judging from the 700 K sold in november id say so. they will pop up sooner than you think my friend. patience is key!

I dunno where you live ,but I see plenty of 250 Gb here in Montreal.... but I have to agree that PS3 is selling VERY well since price cut =)

Sony is cleaning up. And this is just the beginning of their sales, got some sweet games that just came out/coming soon.

And yes, rap is junk. Crap. Garbage. And so on. Etc.

I rarely see the original (fat) PS3 being sold these days. I only see 160/250Gb slims still it's not sold out but it is selling fine and will be selling more this Christmas.

Fat/original PS3 is discontinued..that explains why you don't see them anymore =)

Then there is also the fact that "hip-hop" is the culture, where as "rap" is the music.

A while ago I read something that Sony said. It said that about 60% of people that buy God of War 3 don't even own a PS3 yet. This was probably a year ago!!

they are selling better but wii is still selling more , its more of how many have been produced at the time ,

they have to ship more to stores etc

In my local store the 120gb are sold out not the 250gb.

The 250gb is kind of a waste in my opinion. You'd be better off buying the 120gb and replacing it with a different hard drive from Newegg, Tiger Direct, etc. and save money on it. I just sold my Fat PS3 today and picked up one of the new Slims and am loving it. I guess I am in that small minority that likes the Slim over the Fat.

As for the rap thing...it's definitely not my music. I have my own opinions on it (I'm a diehard metal fan myself), but I guess you can't knock them too hard. No matter what you say about the rappers or whatever, however fake or ridiculous they may be, they're laughing all the way to their millions of dollars in the bank.

At the wal-mart where i live they are pretty stacked in 120g and 250g slims haha i guess everybody that wants one already has one here lol

Just look harder. My local best buy has a giant pile of them. I bought one yesterday.

Surprisingly though, the 120 GB version was sold out.
