$299 Ceramic White 40GB PS3?

I remember reading something online about the $299 Ceramic White PS3 coming to North America. It also said that they would go on sale Monday. Anyone know if this was just a rumor or are they actually coming out with a $299 PS3.

me too. my ps3 has scratches on it and dust shows up a lot. being white may solve that problem.

wats wrong with 399, in australia we have 2 pay 800 for our ps3 i would kill for a 399 ps3. and america is more wealthier than the puny australia :P i really dont understand why u guys complainNutZBouTChoC

All the same. I said in the other thread exsactly like this. The thing looks terrible. Looks like something that matches my bathtub. I wouldnt buy this if I didn't have to.
