I don't know much about PSPs so take that into consideration. With a 2GB memory stick, what does it do? How many games can you save and can u get music and videos? What are the limits?

You would probably get around 4,000 game saves on a 2GB memory stick. A memory stick can do everything a flash drive can. Meaning if you can save it on your computer, then you can save it on your memory stick. As long as the file, or the sum of the files is not more than 2GB.

Wait, does a memory stick give illegal games? Or does it save actual PSP games that you buy?

Well when you buy a memory stick it is empty. Like I said before if you can save something on your computer, than you can also save it on your memory stick. But when I was talking about game saves before, I was talking about just saving the state of the game, not the actual game.

Ok, so a memory stick is a memory card that you can use on your computer aswell to transfer things onto your PSP from your computer? But it is a memory card for game saves asswell? Like if I was playing socom and wanted to save, it would save onto the memory stick? There is not built in memory card?

Right, your game saves and media will both go onto the same memory stick. There is no built in memory on the psp. So if you do not have a memory stick, you will not be able to save games, or save/play any media.

Oh and about the 4000 game saves you said.. I don't get it.. Does that mean games are only a few MBs?

Well a game save stores very little data. Generally all it has to contain is information that states what is enabled in the game. So generally a game save is in the region of half a MB.

An actual UMD game can be up to 1.8GB in size.

-edit: Ohhhh, now I see why you were thinking 4000 games. I didn't realize I forgot to put the word "saves" after game in my first response. I have changed that now.

you could make aproximately 4000 game saves. As far as actually saving an entire game to the memory stick, well you are not supposed to even do that and you won't have to do that, so it shouldn't be an issue.

Well, it is 2gb... so thats like 4,000 games maybe ,and it's like a memory card. You basically need it to save anything.
