If someone wasn't going to buy the game because of a few petty areas of graphics, they don't deserve to play the game ..

Good to hear. I didn't believe the discredit to the demo I was reading on here but I replayed it just today and saw the white line/bar on the right side of the screen during cutscenes and the messed up Big Daddy... Thats one problem with gaming forums is that I thought the game was lookin great until someone had to point out every tiny flaw and now i notice it... :( But either way Im all about gameplay and especially THE STORY for bioshock.. :)

I never played or saw more than 5 screenshots from the original one, played this demo and thought some textures seemed very low res. The only thing I had seen based on this game was the 1UP intro comparison which made me thing brightness was the only difference.

I attributed my feelings on the low textures to playing this right after Heavenly Sword but then the whole hoo-ha started and I checked more into it.My point is even someone who is normally indifferent to graphics I thought some tectures were suspiciously out of place. It wont stop me buying the game buy as a courtesy I think 2K needs to explain their position a bit more.

Actually, going by what I read, 2K said the demo was representative of the final game. Nowhere did it say they had fixed it, and that ps3 big daddy pic is still artifacted to heck. They just backed up and took a picture.

Well the 360 fanboys made a huge issue out of it.Some of them were even comparing it to PS1 games .But it really wasnt much big of an issue.I saw a topic here named something like "2K lied about bioshock" and my topic is mainly directed towards that topic.

Hey!!!!! I created the thread!!!!! YAYA!!!!!!

Actually it looks like they didn't.

Not only that, but they showed me problems that didn't exist previously. I don't think I'll get this... I was going to, but this is obviously a half-assed port, even with the added content... and that's very sad.

I have to agree with this comment, the only "resolve" 2K team stated with those words to players is: "Demo is representation of the full game".

That's about it.

I was simply left astounded with their lackluster explanation of blur use... Very unprofessional and lazy work.

I think the only problem was fanboys of a certain system were jealous there so called exclusives are slipping away and are better on certain other system. I have both and it looks better on the PS3.
