I live in England and naturally the version of NBA 2K8 that I'm playing is PAL (PS3), for whatever reason 2K Sports doesn't think that us PAL PS3 players are worthy of receiving the latest roster update or last years patch.

Many people have been complaining about it on the 2K forums and some (including myself) have emailed 2K pleading with them to give us the roster update and patch but they refuse to reply.

Anyone know why they are treating us like crap?

Just a guess but I'd say they didn't sell enough PAL copies to warrant bothering wasting resources on a PAL patch. I've given up on PAL games and just import everything now from North America or Japan.

That could be a decent 'excuse' for them to give but the PAL 360 players have the patch and roster update.

We also don't get the in game ticker.

I'll be importing 2K9.

I wasn't aware that there would be a significant enough market outside of the states for there to be an NBA 2k game released in PAL, either. Learn something new, I guess.
