3.0 update; a request for SONY.

I am back; I was on a hiatus, due to my suspension of a week.

Now I will govern my posting habits, an try not post carelessly as I have done before.

The minor and crappy updates SONY constantly gives us, will not suffice for the mega update we will need and get; 3.0...

I think 3.0 should include:

• PS3 statistical data; The time you have been on; including hours:minutes:seconds. how many times you have clicked each button; R1, X, O etc....; The PS3 internal temperature data in Farenheit/Celsius
• Expanded Friend System; The ability to put friends in folders and label these folders according to their personal status.
• Color Coded Names: The ability to change your name into different colors; PINK, BLUE, GREEN.
• Change the name of what you are doing (the feature is only for games); making it so that you could change the name of what you are viewing/doing under your name.
• Screenshots & Footage Capture Universal; I dunno how they will do it, but im sure they can
• In-Game Music Universal;"---------------------------------------------" view upwards.
• Moar Avatars; This is the easiest of what I am asking, but for some reason they are not delivering.
• Cross-Game Chat; I dunno how they will do it, but im sure they can.
• Scrolling Comment Bar: longer comments, If they exceed the barrier, they scroll and you can adjust the speed and the ability to put smileys in there.
• Glorified Messaging System
• Clan Section for PSN; To organize your clan, organize clan battles, have a clan page; etc...

the ability to join a friend who is already playing a game in progress. like you can on xbox live. say your friend is play call of duty online, you could join the game they are already playing, instead of sending an invite and waiting for them to join you party and then having to look for a match. webb13

Well first the xmb icon thing is already doable. You can create your own theme and customized icons. I constantly hear people wanting cross game chat but I really don't see a need for it. The purpose of game chat is to chat amongst others in the game as there is already a shortage of people chating in the game. Different color xmb text would be nice. I would like to see more media codec support and subtitle support.

Thats a great list, would love to see how many times i've pressed X, or went onto the Store.

Anyway what i what most of all is unversal In-Game Music (IGM). And a way around microsofts stupid patented could be like make it so that IGM is set up for any game thas played on the PS3, but have a agreement sign that states something like by not implementing (insert random coding) into your game you have agreed that, you the dev, have let the PS3 system use user created soundtracks. That way its like saying that the devs are implemeting the use of IGM, which the patent allows.

somehow to incorporate steam would be magnanimous. but that will never happen. the only feature i would like is to make my ps3 float...SikKwuN

First and formost, I wish they would give out the API data for their servers so we can have real Trophy tracking, messaging, etc. on a like Xbox Live.

On the PSN update side of things, I want:

• More statistical information on friends, and PSN related stuff
• cross game invites
• Sorting and viewing options for Trophies
• Definitely more and better avatars
• Universal voice chat
