I cant install the update and when i put my memory in a friends playstation i tell me that i need to erase all the data in my memory do you think that will help my playstation to revive???

Gonna need some more information here... First of all, why can't you install it? And what does 'put my memory in a friends playstation' mean? Does it mean you took your HDD out?

you need to explain better so we can help you. is it giveing you an error msg? did you download the update on your pc and thus a storage divice? if so what kind of storage divice are you useing, usb thumb drive ect? did you try to download it directly from the ps3? if your useing a flash drive ect make sure you named the folders correctly.
