DL is freakin slow im still at 11% after 6 minutes i guess so many r downloading now.

They are incorporating Facebook & updating the Picture viewer. PSN is updated once every Wednesday or Thursday, I think it's the latter. Not sure what else is gonna be in this update. I know there's a thread floating around that gives all the minute details. I have yet to read through it. :P
there are rumor about them implementing new gamertags a little similar to the 360. i hope this is true it is nice to actually see ur trophies in the top corner of the main menu. i crossing my finger they add new gamertag in this update.
Just finished DLing & Installing it. Don't notice the Facebook addition rumors (don't really care since I don't even use it) but the Picture Viewer's layout is a bit different. Don't notice anything different with the "Gamertag" but I could be wrong.

LOL! Sorry to hear that. If you are curious as to how fast your connection is now as to what you're you supposed to get for what you're paying, check it out with this http://www.speedtest.net/ . Found out I was getting less than what I was paying, so I called up the company & now they are giving me 7MBps for a fraction of what it costs. It's funny when you catch people red handed. :D

Is posting trophy and purchasing info to Facebook all it does? Can we not update fbook from the PS3 or see which fbook friends are on PSN that we don't already have? If not, seems like a pretty pointless update.

They have changed the friends list a bit, but only a little. In the friends list, only the selected friend has the big grey rectangle -- the rest just have a thin outline around their icon. You also have the option to change the background colour for your card, and that will be seen on your friends' friends lists.

Push X on your profile, and then push left to get to the colours, then X to open them up.
Oh No!!!! When my PS3 is installing the update it keeps coming up with an error!! It gets to like 61% and then poof Error!!! Has this ever happened to anyone?!!!
I was able to download and install the update in like 5 min. I also downloaded the battlefield beta with no problems. I didn't notice any problems with the system either.

Whew nevermind I gotthe update toinstall all the way now! I had read on some other forums that if something isn't hooked up correctly in your PS3 the update won't install correctly! Instantly I knew this was my problem becauseearlier tonight Ihad fixed my YLOD problem and I didn't have my Blu-Ray Disc player hooked in all the way, so IreconnectedtheBlu-Rayand presto the update installed all the way! It scared me though, I wasthinking ok so I can defeat the YLOD but its the update that does me in lol. Luckly that was not the case!
