Someone posted a long while back that you can get the 5 free blu ray offer even if you bought a launch ps3. I was skeptical but i thought it was worth a shot anyway and mailed in my reciept and upc and today i actually got them. Since it took so long i figured i wouldnt get it, but i did. So just want to let you all know - it works.

you can print out a form on that website that you mail in. you can send a copy of the reciept, the original upc from the ps3 box and the filled out form from the website.

they have a list of blu ray movies you can choose from. but the offer is only for u.s and canada.
I have bought 3 ps3's. I got a launch 60gig then sold it to my friend who paid me well for it, then I got another 60gig, but I gave that too my bro, now I have a 40gig. I have sent in for 2 offers. I have 1 going to my moms house and the other my house. I can now let my friend know he too can ge 5 free moives too.

I think you can send a photocopy, I bought mine in January, but maybe they'll send it to you for free just so they can keep saying they are outselling HD-DVD. My receipt is pretty much worn out because I left it in my wallet. Other than losing my UPC, is there really anything to lose?
I'm going for it, i'll send off the form monday, after that I"ll just forget about it and hopefull it will come about 3ish months later, don't care how long, free is free right?

boxes are good for store bought warranties, Plus throwing out your boxes raises red flags to thieves. I have seen people throw out boxes to their brand new hdtv PS3 and Wii box. Its like you are saying come take my stuff please. I use to live in a bad part of town. I have had my PS2, Xbox, Game cube and brand new PC taken in broad daylight. Just watch how you put your boxes out. around this time they are out looking to get your new x-mas stuff.
that sucks, I keep mine though just because you never know, and I also agree that those who bought around launch should be able to get the movies to, we did pay wayyy more, i'm sending my form in and gonna see.
IT doesn't work. I've heard of it working for people but I think your a few of the very lucky ones. I tried it and got a rejection letter instead. So it's basically if the person who is looking at it to verify it had their coffee that morning and what not...it's worth a s shot though I guess if you don't care about putting a hole in ur PS3 box.
okay some people are asking the same questions, and questions i've already answered. yes, you can send a copy of the reciept. the website you print out the form is @ http://bluraysavings.com . I don't know what movies they are offering now, but i noticed the movie selection has changed a number of times over the past few months.
My thread title said 5 free blu rays with launch ps3 for a reason. The 5 free blu ray offer didnt come until after launch and was meant for people who bought it after launch. BUT, another person posted here a while ago saying that even though he bought it on launch, he mailed the stuff in and still got the blu rays. I myself didn't really believe him, but since there was nothing to lose, i tried it as well. And months later i recieved the 5 free blu rays. So it does work. Even though it says you must have bought a ps3 between these dates blah blah blah, it worked even though i bought a launch ps3. You might as well try it, you have nothing to lose but you might get a surprise in the mail in 2 months.

LOL wow, why don't you just look at the box? Its on the box. It the little barcode that the ppl scan when you buy it. Its on once of the sides near the bottom.

Just print the dang form, fill it out, cut the UPC off your box, and send away for it already. What the crap are you afraid of? Big Bad BluRay Police gona bust you? LOL, I was thinking the same thing, all it takes is a few switches of some numbers. I think though the UPC is what's gonna alert them on wheter or not you have a later one or not, I could be wrong. They may just want to see it if you actually purchased it seeing as they receive so many of these things per day.

i switched it to now read 11/17/07 and change the price from 599.99 to 499.99!
OMG ppl are still asking about the date on their reciept. Don't you guys read!? My reciept was dated 11/2006 and i still recieved the 5 free blu rays...dang...just send it in!

If only they had a 5 free games deal. That would be awesome. I wouldn't be upset about having a ps3 and only 1 game for it right now...and i bought it on launch. 59.99 is a rip off for the crap they have out now...
