5 reasons why the PS3 is CURRENTLY failing.

1. The Game lineup.

Two good games, resistance fall of man, and virtua fighter 5, both of which are rated under 9. Gotta admit good games ARE coming out, but not many. Metal Gear Solid 4, Devil May Cry 4 and thats about it.

2. PS3 lost GTA IV to be exclusive.

The GTA series is one of the main reasons why the playstation franchise shines. Ppl were gonna get a PS3 just for the new gta, but now the 360 has gta too, so ppl r just simply gonna buy that.

3. The online currently.

The only decent game with online is Resistance. Good fighting games such as virtua fighter don't have online.

4. It came out later than the 360.

Not sony's fault, but the games arent that good right now, so ppl are going to the the 360 for all the nice games it has out (gears of war, Lost planet, rainbow six vegas)

5. Its big.

It is big. Huge. The wii is so puny, and more easier to carry and more portable.

Fanboys, this will not be pleasing to you, I understand. But before making rude comments, think about it.

Agree mostly but you forgot final fantasy (2 there of) gran tourismo, Killzone and many more.

Its not gonna catch up now its too far behind, the bigest thing was probably the euro delay, we personaly had a lot of canceled pre orders due to miffed customers who felt a bit cheated (europe) and decided to buy 360. Whatever fanboys want to belileve about 360 is irrelavent cos they are the ones no one listens to. Just like sony, xbox need competition so sony will never fail ultimately, and as we all know the fanboys would buy ps3 if it were delayed 10 years, cost 1k and had xbox 1 insides in it or just a toaster.

Xbox i love playstation i love, i aint a fanboy, in fact i think the best games machiene is probably a high end spec PC.

Ah, yeah you forgot to mention, Final Fantasy 13, Heavenly Sword, Lare, KillZone, Rachet and Clank, Jack & Dexter,  etc.. these are tons of games coming out for the Ps3 this year.  Not to mention God of War 3 in the future... :D  OH, and Little Big Planet this year too.  Home is also a free MMORPG.

GTA as stated before was NEVER exclusive to the Playstation brand, it was always released for the PC and later for the Xbox.  So, I never understand the reasoning behind this.. its obsured.

Motor Strom is great online game, and remember this system has been out for only 4 months.

DreamCast came out first, does everyone remember that?  It also had great games etc.. but the Ps2 crushed it, even after it damged launch where it only shipped out 400,000 systems.  But, guess what.. its now the best selling system in the world, and the dream cast?  What ever happend to it?
