I was wondering what are the best deals for 5.1 headphones that are compatible for the PS3?

I don't know if 5.1 would sound that much better in a headphone. I have a wireless headphone I found at Radio Shack that sounds great. I can hear little suttle sounds that I can't hear in my sound system or any other speakers (it may be because the headphone's speaker is so close to the ear). And the base sound is great, and with the whole thing being wireless I can sit much farther back from the TV than with a wired set that usually has a shorter cable than I care for.

We're talking headphones with 5.1 surround capabilities, headset for communication is a different story. It depends on the headset, some connects automatically whenever the PS3 is on and others need to be connected on the menu!

Soon! I have been in contact with Turtle Beach and they informed me they will have a 5.1 set for the PS3 before the end of the year. I hope they get them out before the release of COD:MW2. They have had 5.1 out for the box for a while. Most sets they sell are amplified also. If you want to see a vid of someone with 5.1 look up Blame Truth on youtube. He plays the "box". They'll be around $100, and they wouldn't tell me if they were going to be wired or wireless.
