i recomend the Samsung 32" with freeview, 1 HDMI,1 Component, PC input, 2 scarts, etc , and Picture in Picture which allows you to watch 2 channels at once via HDMI port i can play my 360 and PS3 at the sametime if i wanted. I love it iplays 720p and 1080i free shipping to http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/924634/Samsung_32_LE32R74BDX_Freeview_HD_Ready_Widescreen_LCD_TV/Product.html

Always go for a brand when you get a plasma or LCD. People forget that new sets are still very much new technology - they may not even last 5 years, no one knows yet.

Anyway, i've got this Panasonic 32" LCD and couldn't be happeir with it. It's £550 from play while stocks last. It's so cheap cos Panasonic are ready-ing their next model for release. It has 2 HDMI sockets and i've been playing my PS3 on it for 2 days now and i couldn't be happier with it. And it's won what-hifi awards for best tv. If you've got the cash, buy one!

Nothing. If you put the PS3's settings to "Automatic", it will do it for you. If you have a 1080p TV (like me), and you put in a 720p game, it will switch to 720p automatically:). BTW, Topic Creator, I thought you were buying a 600 lb. TV, and I was like "WTF:?"
