Yep and we have to play all of our games over again just to get them which is BS.

I dont want to beat assassins creed, uncharted, mgs4, and any racing games that have them all over again just to get trophies.

LMFAO exactly. I've played like Super Stardust a bunch of times over, but I'm going to play it again jsut to get the trophies for my account so that I can level up. and I know MGO is amazingly fun right now and addictive, but I'm going to have to put it down for a bit to go back to Warhawk and get those trophies too.

This will encourage me to play a few games over again.

I just beat Assassins Creed two weeks ago, so I will have to wait on that one.

THats good to know, i already own 35+ PS3 games on BR so i would hate for none of them to have trophies.

My guess for Warhawk would be that you get trophies for getting certain badges and/or ranks. The ranks would be questionable, because you can't really get it again once you have it, but maybe it'll work differently since it's not really something you can steal by copying someone's game saves. As for people complaining about having to re-do games, at least as far as game completion trophies go, it'll probably work to just load a save right before the end, and for the other trophies, if you haven't completed every possible mini-objective 100% yet, you would likely have to play through again to get all the trophies anyway. As someone said before, the whole point of a trophy system is to add more incentive to playing through the game multiple times anyway. In the mean-time, just don't do a MGS4 'Big Boss run' until trophies are implemented for it. :P

Well its to prevent people from just getting saves from the interenet or friends and getting all the trophies.

i hope this is true. i wouldnt mind at all to play through uncharted and a few others again. in fact i was looking for a reason to play it again even though i have 100%ed it.

haha very true statement. I love gaming, but I'm also a very goal-oriented person, and I love the idea of trophies and achievements.

hmm i wonder if we'll be able to trick it???on games with the ability to restart using old saves coudln't we simply load the game up beat it again and sace in a different slot. im really hopeful for this cause i dont wanna have to do all 40 emblems on MGS and all the unlockables on uncharted againenygma500

The points are apparently tracked online for your PSN account so people can view yours when you're offline. That should stop people from being able to get the same trophy multiple times.

"will be 'compatible' with Sony's answer to Xbox Live's Achievement system, Trophies." Key word compatible that doesn't mean that the games will have it it just means that 3rd party can if they want and in Trophies.
