720p native and 1080p downscaled

Is it just my imagination or does a downscaled 1080p signal have more jaggies than a native 720p signal? I'm playing through HDMI on a 32" Bravia

uhm... probably, but why not just play it in 1080p?

duh the picture is zoomed in, 720p game will look better on a 720p native set, on a 1080p native set the picture will show more details and jagged edges will show more.

Warhawk on my 40inch 1080p Samsung downscaled looks perfect to me from 10 feet away.

Games dont get scaled down, they're just rendered at that res.
