80 gig or 40 gig

you want to play ps2 games get an 80gb now,the $399 80gb wont be able to play them from what ive heard,

but if you dont care about ps2 games buy a 40gb then later upgrade you hdd.

I wouldn't recommend a 40gb PS3 with all these games having to be installed on your HDD now.-Renegade

At least he canstill upgrade the harddrive to a larger size. That's one of the things I love about this system.

I would have liked the bigger HD, but this just wasnt an option in the UK. I have downloaded quite a lot but the space doesnt seem to go down that fast. Don't care about backwards capatability... i mean, who here played their old ps1 games on their ps2 games for more than a few weeks after you bought it.thetruespin

I did. For many years I continued to in fact. And now I even play some of those games again with my PS3.
