80010514 disc read error!!

has anyone heard of 80010514 well ive got it i was tryin to install star wars the force unleashed but before anything could happen it comes up saying "an error occurred during the start operation (80010514)" i looked on the internet and apparantly it stops you from doing anything downloads, installations, watching movies and simply just playin your game but this is just for one game thats fresh out of the box and looks clean so if anyone could help me with this problem please help!! :(

When you put the disk in? Might be a read error. Clean it and try again.

After my Resistance 2 disc got that error it wouldnt read anymore because it got cracked.

sign off the psn network, turn ur ps3 off, wait few seconds, turn it back on delete any info that there is about the game, and put the disk back in. and try it again. if that STILL dont work then u should call sony man cuz thats ur only option.

Sounds like a job for sony. I recommend phoning them up. They are more helpful than you think you know.

Hi crazy! Did you find anything to resolve your problem? I've got the same problem and I'm still frustrated. Sony says that I have to pay $150 bucks! Shoot! I heard that is a firmware issue. Do you know how to fix it?

Either this will fix it, or the lens is going out. You can pay Sony $150 or buy a new lens and do it yourself for $60-70
