I think i'm running out of pace i already have 49GB but i have three games that require 3GB or more of pace plus to that require 5GB. And i'll be getting some DLC games and Add-ons. I think it would be best to upgrade. What do guys think?

You could easily delete the game data when you've finished them. If you did that, an upgrade wouldn't be necessary.

I upgraded my 80gig to a 500gig recently. 80gigs wasn't enough for me, I had like 20gigs left and upgraded it. I have a lot of games and plan on buying a lot more, i also have a few games on my hard drive.

That's the problems, imagine each time i want to play Metal Gear Solid 4 waiting like 20 minutes of installation, 30 minutes for Devil May Cry. And when playing games like Street fighter having to wait long loading times if there's no intall data.

Might as well upgrade IMO, considering you can get 500g HDD for less the $80.

If you have 49GB I think its plenty, thats probably on average each game 3-5 GB of install space. After your done with MGS4, uninstall it unless you play over and over. I haven't touched it since I beat it a couple of times( I was trying to sample and collect every different kind of camo), it should be enough space. I have a 40gb, and I have 13gb left lol

No what's killing the HDD space are game installation. Having a lot of games that required installation is a drag.

And i have 9 and 14 the ones from my brother. But7 require installation to accelerate the loading times and two of them take 5GB and are mandatory plus all the Rock band downloadablecontent.

I have a 60gig HDD and I only have 5-6 left so I'm planning on buying a much bigger HDD in the near future.

The question is can I transfer my PSN games and downloads and saves or do I have to waist another download of the 5 you get from PSN games to get them on the new HDD?

That's the most annoying part of changing the drive, we are forced to wait still everything is downloaded again.

You can delete and reinstall the PSN games as many times as you want. The five DL limit only applies to the number of PS3's you can put it on....
