I want to get my PS3 before the 80 GB version. I don't really have time right now to read an article on it. So, when's it being shipped so I can be sure to grab it before?

For some reason i dont really think it will come out in N.A. I dont know why i just have a feeling.But if they did they would lower the price and it would sell more.so who knows.
ummm i dont think they are, cuz its really really stupid of them if they do? cuz u can change the harddrive, urself for alot cheaper, and plus sony iwll lose even more money then if they do release the 80GB IMO i think its stupid of them to that and i doubt they will

Maybe there is something Deeper then Just removing the EE chip and adding 20 gigs more space...You know how sony is..very sneaky, and im sure we'll find out more about this at E3. Anyways i still didnt get my ps3 either yet rogan, im getting mine around july-august..and im damn sure the 80 gig wont replace it by then...IF the 80 gig comes out in N.A.

Unless you're in Korea, for now don't worry about it. Remember, just because a different territory gets something doesn't mean we will. I mean they are still making 20GB PS3s in Japan.
and i will say to you ppl who beleive the dumbest rumours on earth that the 80gb is FAKE FAKE FAKE.....if u think its true you are a moron and lets say for a second here it is actually true, the 80gb will never be out in europe or usa so stop beleiving this rumours!!!!
I wonder if this is going to boost sales because the people who are still on the fence that want backwards compability might run out and get the 60GB PS3.

no its some japanese website...it doesnt even say if it will be in usa or europe...so it could be released in japan or wherever but not in other countries i can gaurany u that
Gosh, the gaming community have become mindless drones incapable of using logic or reasoning. Why would they release a 80gig in Europe or the Americas when you can just buy almost any HDD for more space and cheaper? It doesn't have any other features other than that. The 80gig is meant for a particular region it doesn't mean it's coming to the states cause that doesn't even make a lick of sense.
