While visually stunning, there were a few things missing that I thought we would be able to test out. For instance...

- (nevermind, there actually is an in-car view) lol

- No Online, wasn't the prologue supposed to have one online mode to it?

- No Damage, thought GT devs were going to add a little damage effects (Im not sure if the rumor was true or not thought) its always nice to put a few dents in cars, wouldn't have to be to excessive with parts flying off.... just dents.

I understance it is just the Prologue, but isn't it sort of created to get some reactions to new features? (just not as involved as a beta) Well, I hope the American version will have some of these features... Or at least be implemented in the real game.Im sure the real deal wont fail to impress. =)

- There is In car view, just not in the GT-R. Go try the Bmw

- It's not the prologue. From what i understand, it's the demo of the prologue, which is the demo of the game. so its a demo of a demo

- i agree with u on that one

There are no in car views for the GT-R since the one in the demo is a concept version. My only question is how do i unlock the three cars that are locked. I wanna try out that Lexus IS-F and the Impreza that has a blanket over it.

- No damage feels weird, i know...

-screetching tire sound is HORRIBLE!! TAKE IT OUT!!!!

-controls are much better and responsive than in GT:HD

-Cars look great, but there are still crawling semm-lines.. and some minor jaggies.

-surroundings don't look that good...

-boring gaming in the end... rather play NFS or BURnout

I like it. the controls are much better then HD. The cars look amazing. yeah there is alot of woek that needs done but i bet us (the public) got a old build of the game. plus this is only Prolog not the full 5! Prolog is like the bread sticks its good but the pizza is always better! it's vary fun i just wish there were more tracks and i knew how to read japaneses. Also the AI still isn't much to write home about.

I much prefer this demo to GT:HD, that thing was just a joke. That being said the game is far from perfect, it looks great, but come on people...these are NOT the graphics we were promised. You'd have to be blind deaf and dumb to believe any of these fanboy lies saying the game looks just like they promised. The first thought in my head as the menu screen popped up and the pit crew went to work was "photo-realistic huhwhat?" literally those exact words. That being said it plays great, and is very smooth. Can't wait to pick it up whenever it FINALLY reaches retail.

Bleh, the gameplay hasn't changed since GT3.

The game still lacks that "sense" of speed.

The controls still feel as if i'm driving on ice.

Environments still don't look as a good as the cars. They still look flat.

The game itself has no life.

Cars don't react realistically when you the hit things.

No car damage.

It's a racing simulator, yes, but a simulator brings more than "how you take that turn depends on how fast, how good your tires are, how much your car has and etc." To me, this simulator was good in the Playstation 1 era, but beyond that... this game really hasn't evolve much since PS2 and PS3. I really don't see how this game will revolutionize this genere. Polyphony really let the PGR and Forza people take the stage..

So you made 3 points...the first one is untrue, the second was never anounced for the demo and for the third they have been making statements for awhile that damage will be added once GT5 comes out...and that's a long way down the road.

-screetching tire sound is HORRIBLE!! TAKE IT OUT!!!!

-Cars look great, but there are still crawling semm-lines.. and some minor jaggies.

Always-Honest

The tire screeching is bad, I really hope that make some changes before GT5, maybe even Prologue, PD are good, I'm sure they'll get that straightened out.

No jaggies here, playing on a WH 1080p 42"

Surroundings aren't so eye catching as HD, but that's probably just the setting...we shall see though.

As far as it being boring I can't agree, but that's personal preference.

jaggies are minimal. crawling seemlines are appearent though. (but i play on a HD projector on 100 inch, so these thins are somewhat more appearent on that size,...)

i guess the track is pretty boring.

I have actually seen a few people say that they were really bad as well, so I'm not sure what, but there's definately somethign going on, I'm not alone in have what appears to be a jaggiless screeen either.

Possibly the track, I'm guessing if it was the Tokyo track or one of PD own it might not be so bad, but that's personal preference.

AIH_PSP

Exactly, this is a demo of Gran Turismo Prologue, which in turn is a demo of Gran Turismo 5. Polyphony Digital still have a year to make improvements on this game. This pre demo is only 700 odd megabytes, the actual game will fill up a 50 gigabyte blu-ray disc, so try to enjoy this beautiful game for what it is, a small taste of what the wizards at Polyphony Digital are cooking up for GT 5- 1080p at 60 fps.

Don't hate, it only makes you look stupid

1080P will remove some jaggies for sure. but there aren't that many to begin with.

Wait, how did I loose credibility, when you don't evens say squat about how they are "below GT".

Truly, I don't even think you can't even explain. Anyway, Yamaguchi says so himself that Forza is way ahead in content with GT. That's really sad that he can't do the same. GT is a good driving simulator, probably better, but Forza and PGR have it beat with content and so much more. While, polyphony just keeps making the game looking pretty with some (I say some) new content here and there.

I mean, if PGR didn't create the cockpit view for the cars, until this day, i bet you GT wouldn't even had that.

GT5 Prologue will have a lot more

This is a demo of GT5 Prologue.

I know its in Japanese, so thats hard to know, but GT5 Prologue is going to cost money, so they decided to put out a demo for it.

GTHD Concept is really a cancelled game.

GT5 Prologue is a preview of GT5.

This demo has racing against other cars and a different track.

its for GT fans who dont want to wait until GT5 to get some new GT.

Its got over 40 Cars, 5 Tracks, 16 Player Online, and something called GTTV, so its like a miniature game.

they've been releasing Prologues since GT3 I think.

GTTV will allow you to watch races, real life ones from your PS3, and will also give you updates on the real life stuff, like F1, WRC, etc

Stop complaining about the screetching. It isnt that bad drive a little better. It is a good game it lacks cars but I dont mind. This is a DRIVING simulator. NFS and Burnout isnt.

GT5 prologue demo was amazing, the physics were incredible, it actually felt like the car was on the track, plus the drift physics just make it a blast to play, omg i love the feel of this game, i hated GT4, but this is such a treat. Plus with the number of cars that will be availible in the full game is insane! How do you unlock the other cars though?
