Just like everyone else, I was amazed by Killzone 2s graphics and how close it was to the pre rendered trailer back in 05. Though it did get me thinking about how the gameplay would be like. The last game was ok, but shooting the nth enemy got really stale and the controls felt loose for me.The problem is that if the delevopers spentall thistime making the game look this good to meet expectations, will they bother putting the same time and effort in the gameplay and controls? Could this be just another killzone? Though I think this game has already made a name for itself just for what theyve accomplished in the graphics department. And with a year away, they have enough time to make it aFULL pakage.

If it plays anything like the first Killzone. Then there could be a huge problem.

But I think they took care of that, because the gameplay looked nothing like the signature style of the first Killzone. It actually looked fun, I mean.

Actually you insulted KZ1...but that's alright, we forgive you...english hard!

This thing will be put through it's paces before it goes gold, I would be absolutely shocked if they didn't have their sh!t together for release.

agreed and i'm sure that the 50 million budget wasn't just on graphics but other key aspects such as new immersive realism gameplay.

Im guessing that most of the budget was on the graphics if not all. Guerrila Games really had no choice but to meet the expectations beacause of the 05 trailer or would it be down in the water for them. My guess is that they really focused on the graphics, spendingTIME and MONEY.

why are you so sure? Have you ever imagined that maybe Guerilla knows how to make a video game and won't spend everything on the graphics? Maybe they learned from their last game that graphics are worthless without gameplay or crazy brain washing hype (halo)? Have you played the game?

I wouldnt go as far as to say that the whole budget was spent on it, but a great portion obviously was. Like others have said, there is a year or so to set things straight, so I would think things fall into place like they should by then.

I never said that they were bad in gameplay. I said that they had focus on the graphics firstif they were to impress the public eye. Also, anyone can make great gameplay if they have the talent, but it takes TIME and MONEY to create a PROPRIETARY ENGINE that looks that good. But of course you would have known that if you wernt so impulsive.

IGN has only seen it, so you cant say gameplay wont be bad. Though they have enough time to fix whatever problems they do have with gameplay it being controls, variety and so on.
