I'm considering getting a PS3 (hopefully soon) and have a few questions.

- Who has the best deals? I don't mind if it's used as long as I can trust the seller.
- What size HD do you recommend and why?
- What are the best accesories and why?

I appreciate any help and input you give. Thank you.

I would definitely suggest you go for either the new 80GB model, or the 160GB model, as long as you have no interest in backwards compatibility with PS2 games. The Backwards compatible units seem to be the most prone to failure, and the new 80GB and 160GB models run more efficiently. As far as deals are concerned, you can get $100 of the cost if you trade in a PS2 at Gamestop, or you can get a bundle package like Crypto mentioned. I really am not up on the deals. Accessories...well, there really aren't a whole lot that are necessary aside from the HDMI cable(if you've got an HDTV of course). But if you plan on playing online, a headset is nice. If you intend to watch a lot of blu-ray, you'll want a remote, and if you have friends that come over, you'll want a spare controller.

get whatever you can get for the cheapest price. Then buy a HDD that can handle whatever media you need. I have a 250g and it works out fine. Also get at least 1 extra controller. One thing I like is a long USB cable so I can play and charge. Either get a BT headset or get the PSeye and it has a mic on it.
