ive saved up $100 NZD and im gonna get a psp game with it...the problem is which one? monster hunter seems like a good idea cause its a massivley long game (i only have 2 games lol). how many poeple does mgs have playing? can you give me an exact number? also which firmware version does killzone need?

i personally prefer Moner Hunter Freedom among the four listed. MHF has incredible replay value but not a long as Socm 1 and 2 online modes. In my case, i dont feel comfortable with FPS on the PSP so I 'd choose MHF. Its your choice really. And killzone, is defenitely worth picking up. Its an awesome game, awesome gameplay but no infrastructure option so limited replay. Im not sure about the firmware version :(, probably 2.71

i have 2.71 and i kinda like shooters...its just that when i got bf2 i expected lotsa teamwork with people screaming over the headset etc. then i got it and i was dissapointed. i dont want that to happen if i get socom...

True true. I would recommend MGS - PO over Socom as it was an exhilirating feel to it although stupid people still exist. I mean come on man, imagine, creeping around building on tip toes, AK 47 in hand, not knowing when someone might just pop out from the corner, there also tiptoeing. Everything is silent. :D It has amazing multiplayer, matchmaking etc. and teamwork works well for the most part. Its so awesome. You knock on the wall, an enemy hears it, your friend covers you while you run down the hallway, the enemy runs and comes round the corner where youve left a mine. Your friend and you back off. KABOOOOOOM!!! Its soo f*ck*ng cool man. Buy it. it has amazing single player too.

dude you have a future in advertising :D i think you just eliminated socom and moh and replaced it with mgs :D how many people play it?

I would get Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. It is a sweet game with even better multiplayer.

out of the games you listed Metal Gear Solid Portable ops is by far the best. The Single player mode is great and online is cool there's also a good number of people playing online so get into a match is easy. As for Killzone your psp has firmware has to be 2.8 or above, it's also a great game that loads of fun to play.

hmmmmmmmm for some reason monster hunter seems more appealing...i geuss i just like that type of game more than mgs...damn this a hard choice.

acid games can be fun if you dont mind the different style of gameplay.  Portable ops is a very enjoyable title, haven't played monster hunter

ok so far (trust me im not doing this just because you say mgs) it looks like im gonna get monster hunter. i really like those types of games. BUT if i do get monster hunter mgs will be at the top of my wish list.

it really has nice gameplay and it is really really long

LOL. Sounds like your really stuck for choice. Its really up to you mate. If you like wandering around killing beasts with mediaval type weapons, collecting herbs and stuff get MHF. If you like sneaking around behind enemy lines, headshotting enemies silently, love online play, desperate for a good story get MGS - PO. Seriously Im not biased, MHF has no story whatsoever and only ad hoc play (which is quite fun). Its all upto you. If you cant decide, save up money and get both :D.

well........right now its back to socom (i really like team based shooters 16vs16 with headsets sounds like fun) but mhf looks good........

I think Monster hunter freedom 2 is coming out sometime in the fall for the states, dunno about new zealand, but it will have online play i believe so you can go on 4 player team hunts

i chose socom cause i like shoting games and stuff like its really good if you like shotting and stuff i would recomend that game and it is also a long game so ye i would recomend socom

hmmmm you really shouldn't be considering monster hunter. The second one is comming out soon and the first one got a very avrage review. You should DEFFINATLY get MGS portable ops. It is without a doubt the best game for the psp. but if it's between monster hunter and socom. I personally would get...hmmm I dunno thats hard....no wait i'd get socam and wait for the new monster hunter. BUt dude get portable ops!!!!!!!!!!
