im considering buying a ps3 in the next 2 months and was wondering where i can get a good deal in return policies and the specs of the system as well as if the console has any malfunctions what so ever. i am very cautious now of buying consoles after purchasing a certain one that didnt live up to its quality.
mmmm I live in europe so i m not sure.. but i ve heard that if you buy something at walmart u can return it within 30 days( a friend that lives in the us told me )
yeah i heard of something like that to also i heard the best buy or circut city have something similar....im not sure though.the only reason why i ask is because of the scare and problems i have had with a previous console of another kind not a ps3.
I'm in Texas, I bought my first one (12/2006) at a Walmart, an employee was walking around with it, I asked him "what are those PS3s?" He said returns, and I got one for me. It lived until 01/2008 when the Bluray reader died, but Sony replaced at no cost. The second one I bought at Circuit City without any protection and it is still working.
NOTE: The first PS3 I left with my brother who leaves abroad from Feb/2007 until Jan/2008
hmm... well the failure rate of the PS3 and Wii is estimated below 3% where the 360 is estimated to be from 16-33%. So youre not gonna have to worry too much about malfunction. I bought a 2 year warranty from best buy on mine but I sorta regret it because it runs so rock solid. I think i overreacted after buying the 360 and the problems I had with that....

are the ps3's being made now better in quality? also if it does bust sony will replace it to???sounds to good to be true lol compared to other companies.

yes sir those are my worrie exactly i went through about 4 360's before getting fed p with the mess and thats why im here ...just to get the low down on this bad boy.

It has a year warranty, they will fix it within that time.
I'd wait until the new Bundle comes out with MGS 4... Lot better deal than the bundle with motorstorm also has DS3. Motorstorm is a good game but MGS4 will excellent game imo.
