Hi guys, newbie here.. Got some questions for the ps3. A little help from you will be much appreciated. How reliable is the 160gb ps3? Are there any issues like BDL, YLOD, RSOD, etc.. Recommended playing time? Component cable for ps3 - Is it safe to use third party component cable for the ps3? I bought a component cable (2in1 component, composite, gold plated) but it seems that sometimes I see lines on my screen. I think its static. And sometimes, the color changes automatically. Is there any way to fix this? (not replacing the cable, cant use HDMI cable coz I'm still using sdtv) How can I prevent moisture on my ps3? My ps3 is placed in an open area inside my air-conditioned room, the temperature is not set to the max (just the normal, comfortable temp). the problem is when I wake up in the morning, I see moisture on the top of my ps3. I heard that this is bad and may cause problems. How can I prevent it from moisture? Even on normal temp of the a/c, if it is running on long time, moist can still build up. That issue is just because of the a/c in my room. If it is not running, no moisture. Thanks!

All PS3s are very reliable. You don't really need to worry about that.

You can get many different HDMIs I got mine online for 3 dollars ans it was the best 3 dollars I've ever spent being able to play games on my HDTV. Composite is good too.

You can put something over your PS3 overnight, as long as you don't play with some sort of cloth that doesn't allow the console to breathe.

The best cable for the PS3 is the Sony cables. The thing is that the PS2 cables are the same as the PS3 cables. As for the moisture you could just move the PS3 to another place farther away from the AC.
