A neat little Scam I thought of

so far what I'm getting is, your paying for your copy of SOCOM in Toys R Us and your also buying another copy for your friend with his money and you get deadspace free due to the buy 2 get 1 free deal. It's not a scam, but a good tactic to save money. A scam is usually something you do that ends up with a negative effect from the seller in this case.

Just for the record, do they EVEN have the headset bundle in Australia? because it's only announced for America.

They will probably make you buy Deadspace however, because it is more expensive...unless you are getting the headset version of socom...which you probably will do.Erik729

Yeah im not huge on online, but did you play the demo? They don't let you be very creative with the whole earth-changing weapons, thats the dissapointment for me. You don't even use them to kill, you just use em for cover and to reach ledges..

TRU's video game return policy is 45 days, unopened with a dated receipt or gift receipt. If the game is opened, it can only be exchanged with the same title. No exceptions.

Due to how the deal is rang up, the games that do not come up free can be returned or exchanged for it's full value. The game that rings up free cannot be returned or exchanged because it has no value, only if it is defective can it be exchanged for the same title. Make sure the free game is something you want, or you are pretty much boned."

That will probably not work, when companies like toys r us think of these promotions do you not think they go through all the ways they could be short changed by the promotion.

There's a good chance it will only be a selection of games that are labeled 3 for 2 and more than likely things like dead space and socom will not be on that list.

Also your reciept will show you got socom through the 3 for 2 promotion so they wont give you cash back for a game you got for free, they probably wont even let you replace it unless its faulty.

When there's a promotion theres always small print, and promotions tend to be for them to make more money move old stock.

Im betting when you go in the store certain games have 3 for 2 stickers on them and new releases will not be stickered.
