A new problem with PSN

I have just done everything required to get online now the PSN has come back online but have noticed a problem, if you want to play online, you have to have first used this stupid online pass, which means having access to the PSN store. So for anyone that has bought games in the 3 weeks that the PSN has been down to play the offline campaign then play the online when PS was returned are now stuck as they won't be able to do anything.

This is not meant to have a go at Sony and the PSN, but surely once again shows the folly of being forced to use passes just to play online when, the slightest problem with the store, will unfairly punish the buyer who'll have be stuck through no fault of their own unable to play multiplayer.

What a headache! Sony needs to step up and do the right thing here, make it easy and painless to get back online and into your games again. Losing potential customers I would think..

Not just that, it went off again for me, i logged in changed my pass and everything, went into portal 2 to link accounts forgot my steam password, got it back, and when I came back the PSN was off again.Tuky06

I think that the store will be up by Tuesday because they're not going to want to lose out on LA Noire sales.. People will just buy it on 360 if the store is down since there is going to be day 1 DLC available and people won't want to wait for the store to come up...SoopaKilla

Yeah I bought two games since then, Fight Night and Homefront. They both require passes. however, it doesnt bother me much since i have a 7 day trial

Yeah i've had the same problem with Medal Of Honor...Goes for the online pass and since i can't get it off the PSN store i'm screwed

i couldnt get connected and im in the UK but today i was able to. still the psn store aint working yet
