I've been wanting a psp since a year before they came out and was intending on purchasing one untill i heard that Sony will release a psp with two analog sticks this march.  I wanna know is this rummor true.

It might be true, but it will have bugs so buy the cheaper one!

Yes, Sony has started production on a brand new PSP w/ 2 Analog sticks & a built-in hard drive. Noone can actually confirm this but it is expected to be released next month...

no one knows what the story is with another psp being made...sony has made no comments on it, but i can almost definately tell you it won't be released next month as the poster above said...as you yourself said, you wanted a psp for a year before it came out-companies do not make a game system, and start talking about it when it is already on the shelves; instead they market the product and depending on what feedback they get from investors and the public, they will either keep developing the product or scrap the whole project.  Since sony has made no definate mention of a new psp to be released, it is only logical to assume it won't be out for a good amount of time (closer to a year away if not 1 year+) until we see anything on the shelves

it would be nice if i could trade my old psp in for this new one of course id never buy it because even with 2 analog sticks ...no one at all is going to bother making a good game for the psp

They should just leave the PSP alone, one analog stick is perfect, i think the psp would be really awkward with 2 sticks....thats jus my opinion...would be interesting to see what Sony does tho.

two analog sticks would work great with games that really needs it, like GTA and Ace Combat IMO

No, I hate all of these stupid rumors that pop up. Maybe this will happen in four years when the PSP2 comes out but there is definetly not going to be one any sooner.

I hate it when people start a topic/post something about a new PSP, it's ridiculous. The PSP is going great, and if Sony made a "New PSP" with two analog nubs, developers will have to make sure that it's used in their new games (I guess), and what happens to the people with the original PSPs? Original PSPs don't have a second analog nub (duh XD), Which means almost no one will buy the new game which requires two analog nubs.

speculate away guys .... I'm just playing the current PSP I'm very happy with, and awaiting the next one which WILL have the second analog (speculation alert), and which I'll also be very happy with. i will agree with Kevntoby above, which is that there's no way it'll just appear on the shelves in a puff of smoke. We'll know about it ... so until then ....

the PSP is fine the way it is, sure two analog sticks (instead of the nub), more built in memory, better screen that's scratch/ snug proof, would be a cool but that doesn't change the games. Developers need to make games tailored to the PSP instead of making sloppy ports. as for the rest only time will tell..

Actually I have a friend who's working on the two analog stick project and he has some screen shots out on our site www.pspdownloadswitch.net of course the sites down right now which i ticking me off but he put up some new screen shots for it, anyway if you want free movies, tv shows, music, etc. check out the site some time tomorrow it should be back up

No thtats not true they have stated ..that they are working on a PSP2 ..I think i read something about, Nvidia working on the next PSP

Ya, I think it would be awkward, too. It might be a good idea, but I'm not about to get something just because it has more. However, it would've been nice to have a built-in hard drive:roll:...but still, I'll just stick with what I got thus far.

Ya, I think it would be awkward, too. It might be a good idea, but I'm not about to get something just because it has more. However, it would've been nice to have a built-in hard drive:roll:...but still, I'll just stick with what I got thus far.

Agreed it would be weird to play with but I'm sure after a while people would get used to it...but then is it necessary to have 2? I wonder? :|

There is no psp with 2 analog sticks, its a rumour made up a few months ago by people hoping there would be, but in reality it never will unless they make a whole new system. Simply because the psp has only been out for two years and a new design would make the old one obsolete. Dont listen to this, just go ahead a buy a psp.
