Your choice.Syphon Filter is a straight up action title while MGS is a bit slow, as you have to recruit units and you have to plan carefully.

you forgot to mention SOCOM, unless you've played it before and didn't like it. Frankly, i don't see what the difference is between alot of those shooters. :-P I have SOCOM and enjoyed the single player okay, but there's usually like 10,000 people or more online play at any given time, and online play is pretty fun for it. skreetpreacha

yea overall socom is a good game

Get mgspo or sfdm first.

Mgs:po is quite long, has a fantastic story and has good gameplay, and its online is quite fun.

Sf:dm is shorter than mgspo, the story is not as good but is interesting still and the gameplay is fantastic, and its online is great.
