Ok, so for X-mas im getting my ps3 and i want a good game, (i know theres so many good games for the ps3). But, i can only get one, and i get to choose. I want to choose from uncharted, Ratchet, Heavenly sword, and Resistance. But the question is, how long are these games?? Cause i wanna play a game that i can play for along time. (don't say oblvion because i have it for the 360 lol).
Hmm well since you want it for a long time, I'd say resistence simply because it has a good story mod and a good online multiplayer mode, which is still very active and gets news map periodically. While the other three games are great, this may be better considering you want it to last for a while.
I have to agree with most of the people here. Uncharted is good, and long, but resistance I believe is just as long. Plus it has online. But if you have played one shooter you have played them all so if you are getting CoD4 for something don't worry about resistance. Go for the exclusive uncharted.

I didnt list it because its multplat, im not sure if i would get that on ps3 or 360
CoD4 is one of those rare instances where the PS3 version is better than 360's, if only very slightly. I would go with Uncharted, that is by far the best game on your list.
resistance: fall of man is my favorite game for the PS3,and im sure if uncharted and R:FOM were switched around and uncharted was a launch, people would be saying resistance was better. but uncharted is my second choice, its a really fun game, but resistance is a fun and longer game. plus its got online, split screen and coop. ratchet was a fun rent, i wouldnt buy this game because i beat it in about 8 hours and found no replay value. heavenly sword is aokay game IMHO i found it a waste to even rent it for $8. maybe its just not my type, but it was quick and easy with no replay value for me. resistance is a all around fun game that is a must buy, uncharted is probably the best single player game with replay value, ive beat it on normal, hard and now im on crushing. even after that i plan to play some of my favorite levels with all of the cool stuff ive unlocked.
when i said resistance is a longer game i meant that all around you will spend more time with it, most likely..i know i did, but uncharted has a longer SP
