honestly i play more ps2 than ps3 games but i really dont mind because i have a boatload of PS2, PSP, and DS games to play.
My main interest is with rpg and strategy games so it's normal that i don't have that much ps3 games, i dislike shooters so i didnt buy resistance but i did rent it and it was fun playing with my brother-in-law in coop.
I hate driving, be it real or virtual , so i didnt get motorstorm but i rented it and i can say the crashes you get with the vehicules on matrix motion are freaking awesome.
Oblivion is great although i would have prefered another another combat system since it's almost impossible
to fight correctly in 3rd person view and i hate first person views.
Armored is just awesome though ... fast paced mech combat with highly customizable parts and fun missions. just great.
Lair will be great since i loved drakenguard 1 and 2 and drakan were you get to fly dragons and blow stuff.
I love my psp compatibility, i can play all my song on my ps3 at work through my psp. Just great!!!
Hope it help you!!! i tried to be objective
I enjoy mine so much I've stopped playing my XBOX 360 because of it. You can tell by my XBOX 360 gamer score and it has been like that for a while too. I've also played Gears of War and still keep playing my PlayStation 3 and having no problems. The only thing I don't like about it is the charging cable it's too short and it can heat up a cold room yet it doesn't over heat itself.
I waiting for Socom and Warhawk really badly because it's online only games. Yet Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas is going to see a lot of life in my system when I get it.
I enjoy it. Though right at this moment I seem to watch more movies on it than playing games. It has replaced my standard DVD player because it now upscales. Blu-Ray movies are pretty awesome on my HDTV. Soon more games will come out for it and I will be using it for games as much as I do for movies.
My Wii on the other hand has not been played in months.

Hahaha... Agreed, my room get really hot, so I'm really looking forward to play on winter so I can leave the heater off.
Also waiting for socom and warhawk!! Man, what is your PSN?
I'm thinking of trading mine in on an XBOX 360. I really had my hert set on a smoking stering wheel and the red ring of death. :Pblind5sparrow
They say you haven't lived until you've experienced that and sent your blood pressure skyrocketing into the 300's
:)
Maybe my comment isn't worth much here. I ordered a PS3 a few days ago and even though it won't be here for a few more days, I'm already for more excited about getting it than I was about my Xbox 360. The PS3 has a stronger lineup of titles considering how the 360 was this early into launch, and looking at the future lineup of games, I'd say the PS3 will be more than just a bit of a challenge for the 360 and Wii. Since the price drop the PS3 is an incredibly powerful, versatile system with all of the features that the 360 charges extra for, and for basically the same price. I have Ninja Gaiden and Resistance shipping to me as well, and once I get home from college, I'm buying Warhawk. Not to mention games like UT3, MGS4, and Heavenly Sword!
Plus, out of three next gen consoles, the PS3 is by far the most sexy. 8)
man i never play mine, i havent even turned it on since febuaryFauij
It helps to own one.

Was ure purchase worth it? have you enjoyed your ps3 so far?Nathe25
I bought it purely for blu-ray since i got a large screen 1080p TV and now i'm addicted to my ps3 more then movies if that means anything
Now to make a connection with the previous four pages of posts is that everyone loved there ps3's, it is arguably the best console with arguably the best games. All in all, if u are to buy a ps3 u will be satisfied.

Yes my purchase was worth every single penny that i payed. I have had tons and tons of fun doing numerous things with this beast that is ps3. From watching blu ray movies to taking down warhawks and laughin it up with friends...i can never get tired of this system..Just when i think i understand it..BAM! Something new..
Yes it was worth it and yes ive enjoyed it alot and will continue to enjoy itCrazy87
well said and I agree, and the good stuff is just coming out.
yes!
i hope this one stays with me for a long time, just like my PS1 and PS2 and doesnt break.
i had my PS1 since release until 2004, when my sister killed it, and my PS2 its with me since its release until this days, and i hope it lives longer (right now, its seatting just right next to my PS3)
so my hopes for my PS3 are really high!, i hope it last forever!
(i have never had to change any of my other Sony consoles, so i hope this isnt the exeption)
Yes. I bought it for 499. got 5 Bluray movies. BLURAY is amazing w/my 720p projector setup. Its worth its price right there. I firmly believe that BLURAY is not only amazing for consumer, but for companies as well. All of the non crappy EA ported games are visually amazing. I feel like it is truely 1 amazing chunk of hardware.
I am a huge fan of GAMES. not the system.. all of PS3'S Future games that are being well developed are bringing us into the next generation of console game technology, along with the P.C.
