if iwere to go to the store and buya ps3 would the firmware be somewhat updated ot at 1.00 still? thnx

i got mine an it was at like 1.5 so not sure.guessing its like hte psp where ylu have to find the right serial numbers

if you know you wont be able to update your PS3 by connecting it directly to the internet you can DL them onto your PC, stick em on a memory device then update your ps3 through that

if using ur pc it shud be under the following director in ue storage media

PS3>UPDATE>PS3UPDAT.PUP

"PS3UPDAT.PUP" is the file that u download from sony...

Yes, but if you buy a game with it, the game would have the latest update the date the game was released on it.
