I was just wondering weather they all offer the same amount of quality. Like are different brands better than others. Cos i have a cable but i have a crap-load of jagged edges (especially since i got BBC2).

Thanks.

It would help us if you described the HDMI cable you have right now.. because they are pretty much all the same. You can grab one up for $10 or less at monoprice.com, and make sure it's gold-plated. They ship fast.

It could be your HDTV settings. Or your display settings on the PS3 itself.

As long as it's a HDMI1.3 cable you're good. And the jaggies in BC2 are because of the low anti aliasing in the game, not your cable.

Why do people keep mentioning version 1.3 of HDMI cables? Everyone is fine getting a version 1 HDMI cable, you only need to go to 1.3 to use features like deep colour.

and to carry HD signals... but you have to have a receiver etc... and trust me, bad company 2 with 5.1 PCM, awesome. As far as the game cos, try decreasing the sharpness on your set; I dont have that many jaggies, but they are definitely there. Screen tearing and jagged shadows however, oh yeah, got those..

for brand, i recommend monster, good price of its quality.

length: as short as possible, the longer hdmi cable, the less stable.

Remember HDMI cables are digital, 1's and 0's, they either work or don't work & they all provide the same quality.

If a game has jagged edges, its down to the game/ developer not putting anti-aliasing or similar methods ect.
