Well yea, that's common sense. That's why you can buy additional insurance and it's not that expensive, 2 or 3 additional yrs i think, don't remember price tho, sorry
1 year warranty 100%, don't even check, i'm an owner too Rakuhosony doesnt doesnt have an extended warranty after the 1 year free warranty expires
I bought my warranty from the stroe to exchange there, but i wouldn't be surprised if sony has an extended warranty, however you'll have to contact sony for that. Are u purchasing it from ebay or something, cuzz, there might be complications that im unawre of pertaining the warranty policy (extended)Rakuhono im gonna buy it from best buy, i dont buy from ebay
[QUOTE="asmallchild"]it's on the playstation website 1 year but beware...sony has the option to give you a new OR refurbished unit should yours break down i would recommend getting the store warranty if you are paranoid about system failure and want to exchange it for a brand new unitGhostRiderMikelol im paranoid because i own a x360 and im on my 4th
4th... wow. That's a lot even for the 360. But don't mistake it with the PS3. However, go with the advise from the guy above, get best buy's extended war. As great as the PS3 seems you can never be sure...
Sony Computer Entertainment America ("SCEA") warrants to the original purchaser that the PS3TM hardware shall be free from material defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase (the "Warranty Period").
